Two bounty hunters, Clay McMasters and Yllut Worc, both want to collect a $500 bounty for the capture dead or alive of Jesus Vasquez, a dreaded bandit of the Southwest.

McMasters is a bounty hunter who has never abandoned his humanity. Worc, on the other gun-hand, is a ruthless, brutal man for whom life has little value.

When Worc discovers that Juanita, a local woman in Pikeville, Texas, is the outlaw’s sister, he uses her as bait to lure the bandit into the open. But first he is forced into a partnership with McMasters. The two will work together, barely keep from each other’s throats, until they get the $500 reward for Vasquez.

Joining forces with McMasters to split the reward money fifty-fifty, the two men take Juanita to the outlaw stronghold town of Calvillo to capture the bandit chieftain, only to discover they’re in for a big surprise.
